The Istanbul Computing and Smart City Technologies Inc. (ISbak) was the proxy for the second demo city of IMPACTS, Istanbul. ISBAK is connected directly with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) since it was established by them. ISBAK was interested in exploring alternative travel strategies to make travel experiences more satisfying for passengers, thereby encouraging them to switch from private vehicles to public transport options. ISBAK made the arrangements for piloting in a tram line, in the touristic peninsula of Istanbul and ensured user acquisition, local dissemination of the pilot and used their R&D in transportation systems to provide IMPACTS with real-time transportation data, necessary for feeding the solution.
